Control and Command Centre
Control and Command Centre

The Information Systems Organization (ISO) has established a centralized Control and Command Centre to strengthen real-time monitoring, transparency, and data-driven decision-making in the Irrigation and Water Resources Department, Uttar Pradesh. Through this initiative, the Hon’ble Minister of Ministry of Jal Shakti and senior officials are empowered with real-time visual access to ongoing projects through cameras installed at project sites, along with monitoring of dams and barrages integrated with SCADA systems and pre-flood preparedness works through CCTV surveillance. The initiative also enhances the efficiency of departmental digital systems by ensuring timely data availability and seamless technical support for key portals, websites and dashboards developed by the department, while ISO continues to maintain and upgrade the Centre to enable faster decision-making and improved governance.

The Information Systems Organization (ISO) has established a dedicated Server Room to strengthen the IT infrastructure and ensure uninterrupted data management in the Irrigation and Water Resources Department, Uttar Pradesh. This initiative enables 24×7 data transmission through centrally hosted servers, ensuring seamless and automatic flow of data to departmental portals such as RTWDMS and FMISC, as well as to the WIMS portal of the National Water Informatics Centre (NWIC), Government of India, thereby supporting real-time data availability and efficient system operations.

The Information Systems Organization (ISO) has established Hello Kisan, a toll-free call center operational since 2023, to strengthen farmer support and ensure timely redressal of irrigation-related issues in the Irrigation and Water Resources Department, Uttar Pradesh. Through this initiative, farmers can register complaints related to canals, culverts, tubewells, ponds, and tail-end water supply via the toll-free number 1800-180-5450, available from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on working days, enabling efficient grievance registration, tracking, and resolution.

The Information Systems Organization (ISO) has developed the Water Allocation No Objection Certificate (NOC) Portal to streamline and digitize the process of granting approvals for water-related projects in the Irrigation and Water Resources Department, Uttar Pradesh. Developed in alignment with UP-Invest and the Business Reforms Action Plan, this initiative provides a single-window platform for obtaining NOCs, simplifying procedures and enhancing ease of doing business. The system ensures faster processing, transparency, and efficient facilitation of industrial and infrastructure development in the state.

The Information Systems Organization (ISO) developed a dedicated Water Monitoring System to ensure effective monitoring and management of river water levels during Maha Kumbh 2025. This initiative enabled real-time monitoring of water levels at key control points of the Ganga and Yamuna rivers across the state, ensuring efficient regulation, particularly in Prayagraj. Through real-time data and alerts, timely decisions regarding water discharge were facilitated, helping maintain optimal water levels. The system played a crucial role in ensuring safe and convenient bathing arrangements for devotees during the event.

The Information Systems Organization (ISO) has developed a Document Management Portal as a centralized digital repository for easy online access to departmental documents in the Irrigation and Water Resources Department, Uttar Pradesh. This initiative provides structured, category-wise access to a wide range of departmental records, ensuring improved accessibility and efficient information management. The portal also hosts drawings, along with drone photographs and videos of important and historical departmental structures, enhancing transparency and digital preservation.

The Information Systems Organization (ISO) has developed the Real Time Water Data Monitoring System (RTWDMS) as an integrated, web-based platform to enable centralized monitoring of water-related data across the Irrigation and Water Resources Department, Uttar Pradesh. This initiative facilitates real-time collection and display of data from RTDAS, SCADA, and Canal Monitoring Systems established under various projects, supporting effective monitoring of key parameters such as water levels, rainfall, and barrage gate operations, and also includes a surveillance module for viewing live camera feeds from SCADA stations, thereby enhancing timely decision-making and operational efficiency.

This initiative enables easy access to departmental information, personnel details, and various activities through a structured online system. It also facilitates secure login-based access for monitoring and updating data related to key departmental functions, while ensuring that important updates and information are regularly made available, thereby enhancing transparency, accessibility, and efficient governance.

The Information Systems Organization (ISO) has developed the Jal Shakti Minister Dashboard specifically for the Hon’ble Minister of Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of Uttar Pradesh, to enable direct access to information and comprehensive, real-time monitoring of activities across the Irrigation and Water Resources Department and other departments under the Ministry. This initiative provides end-to-end tracking from project planning to execution, with real-time progress updates and geo-tagged photographs uploaded by field engineers through a mobile application. The dashboard offers a centralized platform for monitoring projects, grievances, maintenance works, land acquisition status, and on-demand departmental data, thereby enhancing transparency, coordination, and data-driven decision-making.

The Information Systems Organization (ISO) has developed the IWRDUP Web Portal and the “Water Level IDUP” Android application to strengthen data-driven water resources management in the Irrigation and Water Resources Department, Uttar Pradesh. This initiative enables real-time data collection from gauge sites, barrages, and dams through field-level inputs, along with features such as trend analysis, user management, and real-time reporting. The system ensures that data is centrally available for monitoring at various administrative levels, facilitating timely review, better coordination, and informed decision-making.

The Information Systems Organization (ISO) has developed a Legal Case Management Information System to strengthen the monitoring and management of court cases in the Irrigation and Water Resources Department, Uttar Pradesh. Through this initiative, a web portal and mobile application have been introduced to enable efficient tracking of cases by departmental officers and employees. The system provides timely alerts and updates related to case status, compliance requirements, case history, previous hearings, and decisions, thereby supporting effective legal management and minimizing the risk of contempt of court.

The Information Systems Organization (ISO), through FMISC, has developed the FMIS-UP application to provide easy access to departmental information through a centralized digital platform. The application also includes a suggestion feature, enabling users to submit feedback or upload related images, thereby enhancing user engagement and information sharing.

Flood Prahari

The Information Systems Organization (ISO), through FMISC has developed the Flood Prahari application to strengthen flood monitoring and reporting mechanisms. This initiative enables departmental field staff to transmit real-time gauge and discharge data directly to the Central Flood Control Room, replacing manual and telephonic reporting, and ensuring faster and more efficient information flow during the monsoon season.

Flood Geo-Tagging

The Information Systems Organization (ISO), through FMISC has developed the Flood Geo-Tagging application to enable location-based monitoring of field activities. This initiative allows geo-tagging of photographs with GPS details such as latitude, longitude, date, and place, ensuring accurate documentation of work status and location for effective monitoring and record-keeping.
